Nathaniel Kessel | Computer Engineering Student
PCB Design | Embedded Systems | Hardware Design
I am a 3rd-year Computer Engineering student at the University of Cincinnati focused on the intersection of digital logic and physical hardware. My primary focus includes PCB Design, Embedded Systems, and Audio Electronics. I am currently seeking Fall 2026 Co-op positions where I can contribute to robust hardware and firmware projects.
Unlike many who focus solely on code, I thrive in the lab—soldering surface-mount components, verifying designs with an oscilloscope, and building custom PCBs in KiCad. My background in Aviation Maintenance taught me to troubleshoot complex systems early on, a mindset I now apply to engineering. I aim to build hardware that is repairable and embodies a 'Buy It For Life' philosophy.
